Webinar to support Community Pharmacy meets the Prevention Domain of the 2021/22 PQS

The English Surveillance Programme for Antimicrobial Utilisation and Resistance (ESPAUR-UKHSA) held a joint antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) virtual event with the PSNC and NHS England and NHS Improvement on Tuesday 16th November at 8pm to support community pharmacy teams meeting the requirements of the Prevention Domain of the 2021/22 Pharmacy Quality Scheme (PQS).

During the webinar discussed AMS and the use of the Antibiotic Checklist and other tools which can be used in community pharmacy. In addition, we highlighted the resources developed by PSNC to support contractors to meet this Domain and where to find further information and support.

The webinar lasted 90 minutes and viewers had the opportunity to ask questions.
