The English Surveillance Programme for Antimicrobial Utilisation and Resistance (ESPAUR) Report 2023-24 webinar was held on Wednesday 20 November 2024.
The ESPAUR report describes the surveillance of antimicrobial consumption, resistance, and stewardship across the healthcare economy at a local, regional and national level.
The webinar was introduced by Dr Richard Pebody (Director, Clinical & Emerging Infections at UKHSA) and chaired by Professor Diane Ashiru-Oredope (Chair of ESPAUR and Lead Pharmacist for healthcare-associated infections (HCAI) and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) at UKHSA).
A summary of key findings was presented from the authors of the report as well as a ten-year review of the report since its inception. Please note that methods were not presented, for full details please refer to the ESPAUR Report.
