Fifth National Students AMR Conference Online On Demand Module Learning Sessions 2021

National Students AMR Conference

Online Module Learning Sessions

We are excited to announce that the multidisciplinary National Students’ Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Conference will run this year as a range of online modules, for students to engage with in their own time, at their own pace during World Antimicrobial Awareness Week, hosted by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA).
Following the successful delivery of the first four annual multidisciplinary student conferences – starting in 2017 – this online module edition of the event seeks to embed learning shared from the first four years, whilst increasing flexibility and allowing as many students to access this learning as possible. The course consists of the following modules:
• Human Health
• Animal Health
• Dental
• Clinical trials & Vaccines
• Innovation in tackling AMR
• Behaviour Change & Quality Improvement
• Multidisciplinary

This online module approach allows you to be flexible in the sessions that you engage with, although we urge you to take part in all modules if possible, in order to better understand how multidisciplinary approaches, including both animal and human (‘One Health’) are needed to tackle antimicrobial resistance and ensure that we #KeepAntibioticsWorking. Students and newly qualified health-professionals studying Nursing – Medicine – Pharmacy – Dentistry – Veterinary Medicine – Healthcare Sciences – (and relevant related courses e.g. Diploma in Pharmacy Services Skills, Dental Technology qualifications etc) are invited to take part and with this new format, we welcome students not only from the United Kingdom, but from across the world.

This conference will enable you as healthcare professionals of today and tomorrow, to be equipped with an array of knowledge and an insight into the front line in the battle against AMR.
After viewing the presentations in each module, please take the post-conference quiz to assess your learning for each module. After completing the quiz, you will be sent a certificate for each of the modules that you took.

The online healthcare student module course this year is organised by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA)
