Access recording of the Community Pharmacy AMR campaign Webinar

Pharmacy professionals and staff are invited to register to access the recording of webinar on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) for pharmacy staff in the East of England. The webinar will help your pharmacy to make the most of the upcoming AMR campaign which Contractors are required to participate in from 1st September – 30th September 2019.

The webinar was recorded as part of the live session on Thursday 29th August 2019. 19:30 – 20:15 hrs

Through this short webinar, we will help you and your colleagues to:
• Understand what antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is and why it is important,
• Understand what you can do to help stop the spread of AMR,
• Recognise when a client may have a self-limiting infection,
• Improve your confidence in giving advice to clients about self-care and when not to take antibiotics, and
• Prepare your pharmacy to make the most of the mandatory AMR (Keep Antibiotics Working) campaign in pharmacy

The webinar was delivered by Dr Diane Ashiru-Oredope (Lead Pharmacist in the Healthcare-Associated Infections and AMR Division of PHE) and featured a brief question and answer period following the presentation.

A certificate of completion will be available for all who complete a short set of questions before and after the webinar.

Please feel free to cascade/share this link to other colleagues who were unable to register for the live webinar
