Peer-review publications for the Antibiotic Guardian campaign

The Process and outcome evaluations of the campaign performed and published in 2016 showed the wide reach of the campaign and its success in increasing commitment to tackling AMR in both healthcare professionals and members of the public, through increased s knowledge and changed behaviour (self-reported).

During July 2017 a qualitative evaluation of the Antibiotic Guardian campaign was peer-reviewed and published in BMC Public Health Journal.

On 01 February 2018, the peer-reviewed manuscript: Expansion of the ‘Antibiotic Guardian’ one health behavioural campaign across Europe to tackle antibiotic resistance: pilot phase and analysis of AMR knowledge was published in European Journal of Public Health

On 9 March 2019, the peer-review manuscript: Demographic, Knowledge and Impact Analysis of 57,627 Antibiotic Guardians Who Have Pledged to Contribute to Tackling Antimicrobial Resistance was published in Antibiotics journal 

In August 2022, the peer-reviewed manuscript: Evaluating UK Pharmacy Workers’ Knowledge, Attitudes and Behaviour towards Antimicrobial Stewardship and Assessing the Impact of Training in Community Pharmacy was published in Pharmacy (Basel)

In February 2023, the peer-reviewed manuscript: A qualitative investigation of perceptions towards antibiotics by members of the public after choosing to pledge as an Antibiotic Guardian was published in Health Expectations
